In his address, he spoke about history as a living science that moves through cycles of rise, crisis, and renewal, and about how the United Nations, as an institution born from the ruins of the Second World War, once again finds itself at a turning point. He emphasized that the challenge of our time is not only institutional, but also civilizational—a question of whether humanity still believes in the idea of a shared destiny.
He highlighted the importance of a creative response to global challenges and the need for the United Nations to be renewed with new moral and cultural energy—to move beyond a bureaucratic form and become a true platform of conscience, values, and solutions.
