The Forum, organized by Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh and the Academy for Cultural Diplomacy, brought together senior political leaders, diplomats, and representatives of international organizations to discuss the role of cultural diplomacy in addressing contemporary global challenges.
During the second day of the Forum, he addressed the session “Finance, Resilience and Leadership in Governing Modern Economies,” where he emphasized the growing gap between positive economic indicators and real social experiences. He stressed that resilience must not be reduced merely to technical stability, but must be understood as a political and democratic responsibility based on fairness, long-term vision, and accountability. Otherwise, in a multipolar world, resilience risks merely delaying instability rather than preventing it.
The Forum also included important sessions on the role of women in politics and diplomacy, as well as on cultural diplomacy in contemporary international relations, with the participation of distinguished international figures and former heads of state and government.
As part of the Forum, he also attended a special breakfast hosted by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons, The Rt Hon Nusrat Ghani MP, which provided an opportunity for an open exchange of ideas on the importance of cultural diplomacy in strengthening international dialogue and cooperation.
The Forum once again reaffirmed the growing importance of cultural diplomacy, inclusive leadership, and multilateral engagement as a foundation for stronger international trust and more sustainable global cooperation.
